Home Care Packages
Home Care Packages help you continue to live in your own home for as long as possible, giving you access to care services for tasks that you can no longer manage individually. Home Care Packages are consumer-directed, hence giving you the flexibility to choose the care and assistance services that is provided to you.
Home Care Packages are assigned following a comprehensive in-home assessment organised by My Aged Care. Based on your care needs the cover the following levels.
- Level 1 – Basic Care Needs
- Level 2 – Low Care Needs
- Level 3 – Intermediate Care Needs
- Level 4 – High Care Needs
Once a package has been assigned to you, you will need to choose an Service Provider to manage and work together with you to identify your care needs and decide how best to spend your package funding.
